SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Mayor Al Smith distributed awards on Saturday morning at the Scotch Plains Farmers’ Market to those who participated in the 2020 Mayor’s Wellness Campaign Challenge.

The Mayor’s Wellness Campaign is an initiative that promotes a healthy and active Scotch Plains through nutritional and exercise programs. It’s part of the reason why last year, New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute, the statewide community health initiative, named Scotch Plains a Healthy Town.
