Katie Bisaha
As a Community Health Associate, Katie Bisaha advances the Quality Institute’s statewide community health initiatives, including Conversation of Your Life (COYL) and the Mayors Wellness Campaign (MWC).
Katie works closely with the over 400 communities in New Jersey participating in the MWC. She provides additional tools and educational workshops to those communities choosing to implement COYL and hosting community conversations around healthy aging, including advance care planning. She is a certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) instructor, providing evidence-based, skills-based training that teaches participants how to assist someone experiencing a mental health crisis.
With a background in public health and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Montclair State University, Katie brings a wealth of experience in areas such as substance use disorder prevention, nutrition education, and community wellness.
