Nicole Lamborne, MD
Nicole Lamborne, MD, is Virtua’s Vice President of Clinical Operations for Women’s and Children’s Services, where she oversees the OB/GYN departments and related women’s issues for the health system. Dr. Lamborne has championed Virtua’s initiatives to improve recognition, treatment, and outcomes related to postpartum hemorrhage and hypertension in pregnancy as well as reducing the cesarean section rate and racial disparities. Dr. Lamborne brings over twenty years of medical experience to Virtua as a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and continues to practice clinically as an Obstetrical Laborist and collaborating physician for midwifery practices.
She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry; her Medical Degree from the Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine; and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cooper University Medical Center in Camden. She has recently completed her MBA with a specialization in Healthcare Management at the University of Scranton. Dr. Lamborne has received state and national recognition for her work to improve maternal outcomes.
